Tina will email am so excited to win your book.
and congrats to all other winners. I have more christmas cookies to share if anyone still has room.
Boxing day in Australia (where I am) is quite cool. Still wondering where summer is.

YAY! Congrats to all the winners!

I'm about ready for bed, but am leaving some coffee and leftover turkey dinner with fixins on the table over there. I also have a few chocolate cookies left as well as some of Jesus' birthday cake :).

Looking forward to Seekerville this week - I've got the first two of Sophie's Daughters books sitting here [my sister's] waiting to be read. Will have to get on that so that once she finishes Sharpshooter, I can snag it from her ;).

Anyone going shopping today? All I need is sprinkles for cookies. We have a bunch of Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween and even Thanksgiving but somehow I'm completely out of Christmas-y ones... :p

Oh, and there's your favorite cup of coffee waiting for you from Mary Poppin's Practically Perfect Percolator. And if you don't like coffee, there's Dr. Pepper IV drips or, if you can't be stuck to an IV pole all day, there's patches for you =D.

MERRY STILL CHRISTMAS [in some parts of the world]!

Carol has taken care of coffee, so I'll provide tea. There's plenty for everybody.

Congratulations to all winners!

Today was quiet. Just hubby, me and oldest son.

Our youngest had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We're heading to his place Tuesday. Daughter and SIL will meet us there.

Jenny, Merry Christmas sweet thing and thank you for the cookies!!! I always have room for cookies.

No summer, huh? That global warming is rearing its head again!!!

Carol, thanks for the coffee! I've added apple pie to the table and a shrimp platter for later.

On ice, of course.

And there is a plate of fudge being passed around, with several varieties. Feel free to announce your favorite, LOL!

I came down with a cold on Christmas Eve and I'm whiny. Everything tastes bad. That's sooooo not fair when I've waited for MONTHS for Christmas food.

Dagnabbit. Do you SEE how red my nose is, like the rosacea doesn't do enough of a job on it?

I could play Rudolph with NO MAKEUP.

What a lovely Christmas, and what a lovely blessing Jesus is! Amen, Amen!!!

I went to the True Lies clip to see the Marriot Marquis...

Oh my stars, what a vantage point, LOL!

January 18, huh??? Gotta check my savings pile.

we did our Christmas this morning - goes quickly!
boy I haven't had fudge in FOREVER(I normally hit the pies and brownies) but my aunt had slim pickings on the dessert table(partly thanks to one uncle divorcing the aunt who could bake and marrying one who doesn't!)so I decidedt try her fudge and I'd forgotten how rich that stuff is! Felt like it got bigger with every bite!

One of these days I'm gonna have to learn how to bake - anything but a cake mix scares me.

I have LOVED having this White Christmas. Absolutely beautiful. Nothing compared to what you guys get out west or up north, but it sure is pretty.
I won't be around to see Madame Z's predictions :-( My hubby's taking me out for the weekend for my b-day.
But I'll have to stop in on Sunday and see what I missed.

Blessings to you wonderful Seekers and the flunkies who love you :-)

Ok this is a South Australian thing but if a public holiday falls on a weekend we have the holiday on a monday so I guess its Christmas again!!!!! the irony is people working Christmas get weekend pay if they work to day they get double time. We also have boxing day in all states but mine and tomorrow is Proclamation day the day we became a state so we have a public holiday tomorrow too. In other years we will celebrate proclamation day on the day after Christmas. So no shops but the supermarkets are open here and a few small stores in some areas. I do enjoy the time from Christmas to New Year to chill out but this may be the last year I hope to have a job by the end of 2011.

Pam Hillman said...

Jenny, I guess we're kinda flexible here in the states. If the holiday falls on Saturday, we take Friday. If it falls on Sunday, we take Monday, at least where I work.

This year, they closed Thursday and Friday and I took a vacation day on Wednesday.

A 5 day holiday!!! It was wonderful!

Got to go back tomorrow, but for only 3 days. We're closed again on Friday, and I'm taking my last vacation day on Thursday, so it'll be a 4 day holiday.

Ruthie - hope you feel better....
Pepper - HAPPY BIRTHDAY (coming up) - today is my cousin's!
Melanie - I KNOW IT! We had to use the 4WD on the truck today (as we headed to Lowe's to get a new refrigerator - ugh... SO not in the budget, but since ours died Friday... what can you do?)

YAY - I win I win! Can't believe it! Thank you Seekers!!!! Glynna - can't wait to read another of yours! Thank you!!!

Pam Hillman said...

Hey, did we figure out who the friend of Seekerville who's reading Tina's book is???

I think I know, but I'm not telling.

Ugh...gotta go back to work tomorrow, and I so want to sleep in again.

Missy Tippens said...

Thanks for a great W.E. ,Tina! Sorry I didn't visit until so late.

Wow, I can't wait to see the Marriott!! But I think that roof would freak me out.

Debra E. Marvin said...

My heart leaped or is that leapt? with joy when I saw I'm a winner of Rocky Mountain Hero. Omigosh. That's too cool. And I have to be careful about leaping heart because it's quite saturated in fats, sugars and salts right now. I'm hoping to end the madness today but I have one more piece of Dutch Apple pie left and I'll give away the rest of the shortbread today. Phew.

Thank you SO MUCH for the book, Audra!
