Wednesday we joined Julie for her blog, "Crash Edits: How to Trim the Fat From Your Novel" as she shared tips learned the hard way when she had to cut 50,000 words from one of her books. Jill Weatherholt is the winner of Julie’s brand-new contemporary novel, Isle of Hope, in either paperback or ebook.

Thursday, we cowboy'd up with Ruth Logan Herne as she celebrated her first cowboy story going into production at Waterbrook/MultnomahBack in the Saddle!  Her post was called "Writin' and Ropin' the Fundamentals of Talkin' Cowboy... and Those Who Don't!"  Donna, Cindy W and Jackie are winners of pre release copies of Back in the Saddle.

Another Awesome WE, TINA! And next week I can scour the shelves for my favorite authors' books! I'll be busy this weekend with all the fun last minute things before we leave the farm for 5 months. Laundry, wash floors, clean the pantry, take out the trash, etc. Each thing done is one step closer to Arizona. Have a great day. Congratulations on your releases

I'm loving the Harlequin $1.99 sale! I was able to make a big dent in my wishlist and got 9 books for my kindle. This week I got an exciting email letting me know that Karen Witemeyer chose me to be one of the influencers to review With This Ring? :) :) :) I love all the authors that contributed to it so I can't wait!!!

Please include me in the drawing for Rancher for the Holidays! Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy weekend, Seekerville. Another FAB weekend edition, Tina!

And isn't that $1.99 sale at HQ amazing? So many to choose from by my favorite LI authors! I need to find time to sit down and review my gift-giving plans--and my own wish list(!) before the sale ends on the 17th.

Boy, is this month flying! When I walked into Walmart yesterday, there was a big sign that said "41 days until Christmas." YIKES! Slow down! Slow down! I want to enjoy Thanksgiving first!

Bettie said...

Congratulations winners and all of those with new books out or honored. I already have my copy of Rancher for the holidays. It was a good one!

Wilani Wahl said...

Congratulations to all the winners!

Love the WE, Tina,

I put With This Ring on my Wish List so I will remember to order next month. I spent too much on Harlequin's sale. I just couldn't resist snatching up LI I had missed.

I am behind on my reading this month because I have been writing. On my Nanowrimo, I have written 36,000 words so far. Yes, it has been work, but it has also been fun.

It looks like we are in for a chilly weekend in Western NC.

Have a great weekend every one!

Five Ways to Annoy a Reader -- Snort -- this should be written into a contract so everyone in the sphere of a reader's life completely understands what they're getting into. LOL Love that January LI lineup -- did you guys plan that? Great WE!!!

Myra Johnson said...

Good morning, Seekerville! And thanks to TINA for yet another jam-packed Weekend Edition--AND for the extra promo for my newest release! So glad to hear some of you are already reading and enjoying Rancher for the Holidays. It was a fun story to write, especially imagining what Marley's life might be like a decade after Autumn Rains.

Congrats on those 4-star reviews, ladies!

Cindy Regnier said...

Mary and Melissa Jagears! Congratulations on the RT TOP PICK!!!

And to my fellow January LI release ladies!! "WE ROCK". lololol

Happy Saturday. May all your reading and writing dreams come true. Off to the WIP!

Myra Johnson said...

Wow, TINA, thank you! Looking forward to your next book, too!

And yes--MARY & MELISSA, top RT picks! You go, girls!

As usual, it's chore day at my house. Laundry, bills, brushing the dogs, vacuuming . . . Doubt I'll get back to writing before Monday. Also hope to spend a little time in my Johanna Basford coloring book this weekend. Sooooo relaxing!

Oh, and I just put a batch of brownies in the oven!

Pam Hillman said...

Fun WE! Congrats to all the winners, and the words being racked up by NaNo'ers, AND that wonderful sale on LI books! Whoot! :)

Melissa Jagears said...

I've been enjoying the LIH sales!

The 5 ways to annoy a book lover was fun, though I'm a book lover, I and my children are really bad to books, that's why we don't borrow from the library unless it's an absolute must, we "love 'em and squeeze 'em and hug 'em to death." And The Count of Monte Cristo was much better as a movie. It really didn't need a chapter about a secondary character and how he inherited his silverware...like in the book. Sometimes those old literary classics are done better shortened. :)

Jill Weatherholt said...

Congratulations to all of the winners! Yay! I'm a winner too! I can't wait to read Julie's book...thank you so much.
Congratulations Janet, Ruthie & Tina on your 4 star reviews! I'm not surprised...your stories always deserve 4 stars.
Also a big congrats to Mary and Melissa!
Thanks for a terrific WE, Tina.

Congratulations to all the winners. Congratulations to all the authors with new releases and great responses already! It was a great week ON Seekerville, starting printing the many great tips and looks like another great week to come!

Can't wait to read all these great new releases! Please enter me on the giveaway for Myra's Rancher for the Holidays. Thanks!

Just Commonly said...

Please excuse all the grammar and spelling errors on my comments. Out and typing with two fingers on a small screen with auto correct just doesn't always work.

Myra Johnson said...

I feel your pain, JUST COMMONLY! I'm typing on my iPad right now, and it doesn't always think the same way I do. Autocorrect really comes up with some doozies sometimes!

Had to cover or bring in my patio plants this weekend with two mornings below freezing. I am SOOOOO not ready for winter!

Mary Connealy said...

Hi Janet! With this ring was lots of fun to write. It's got a connection to The Kincaid Brides and Trouble in Texas.
I love telling the stories of secondary characters from earlier books and that's what I've done here.

Mary Connealy said...

Tracey, THANK YOU. I hope you'll enjoy it. I'm looking forward to it releasing Jan. 1st. This is the second novella collection I've done for Bethany.

Mary Connealy said...

That TOP PICK in RT Magazine is the first one I've ever gotten. I'm so delighted by it!

Jackie said...
