This is in absentia Ruthy this weekend, busily helping with grandkids and food while we plant 1000s of pumpkins into the ground.... Good morning, all o' youse from the Blodgett Family Farm in WNY where there will be a host of Blodgetts and friends gathering to plant the fields... by hand... with gallon jugs of water to hand water... #farmfamily #farmstrong #childlaborfun #cookies
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to this week and the great posts... and early morning writing time now that farm season is on us in earnest!
Enjoy!! I'll pray for a bumper crop this year!
DeleteWish I could help with the planting! What fun! But a LOT of work. Bless you and your family!
DeleteGood morning, everyone. Here's hoping all of you have a wonderful weekend. We're expecting lots of heat here in Texas where we're stuck under a dome of high pressure, so if it's hot where you are, stay cool.
ReplyDeleteGood morning. Praying all will have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well, Wilani!
DeleteThis has been a good week, a nice combination of inspiration and craft.
ReplyDeleteTrying to stay positive with all that is happening in our country and am SO glad I made a vow not to comment on politics or social issues on social media. Turns out I have enough to say on other topics, yay.
Feeling encouraged this week> Got my first offer to guest-blog (July 18, fellow Pelican author Elizabeth West). Got a fair amount of good work done on both my Oregon Trail sequel and my Christmas contemporary romance.
Mindy, it is hot here too and about to rain. I'm having some people over for High Tea, hope it holds off so we can have it outside.
Have a great rest-of-weekend.
Kathy, I don't comment online either about touchy issues. I save that for in-person dialogue. :)
DeleteKB, high tea sounds lovely. I hope you took pictures. :)
DeleteWhat a busy week coming up! I'm off to a local writers group meeting today and have writing work to do as well. Hope everyone's weekend goes great! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations everyone!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations winners -- and special congrats to Pam on the new book! Looks like lots of good links to settle in with later today when I'm sipping iced tea and staying out of the heat :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend everyone. Enjoy the planting, Ruthy!
Nancy
Nancy, thank you for the congrats! I'm so excited! :)
DeleteLots of great links this weekend! Pam, I'm excited about your new book!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you all have a great weekend! We're enjoying some much needed sunshine right now. I hope it'll dry up my yard which is a squishy wet mess. I'm getting tired of having to clean wet and muddy dog feet each time we take him out! :)
I hope the rain will ease for a few days. We're soggy!
DeleteHappy weekend, everyone! And congratulations to the winners!
ReplyDeletePam, I'm looking forward to your new book, too!
Hubby is working today, so I am too. Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone! :-)
Congratulations to the winners,to Pam on her new book and to Kaybee. Many thanks for the helpful links especially on marketing when you hate to do it. Don't work too hard, Ruthy.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the link to Sweet Promise Press. You found us almost the second we opened to submissions. I am extremely impressed and honored <3
ReplyDeleteMelissa, so glad you could stop by this weekend. Congrats on your success!
DeleteI was away from my computer yesterday. Attended a large Christian conference with dynamic speakers. Always love to be fed spiritually.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!
I'm eager to read James Scott Bell's post. He's always so good.
We're still overcast in GA, but rain is NOT in the forecast. We need to dry out! :) Hope the weather is beautiful in your area of the world.
Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you for the links.
ReplyDeleteBecky
