Wednesday: Melanie Dickerson walked us through her plotting genius - a combination of many plotting techniques taught by some of the best in romantic fiction. The winner of an eCopy of her latest release Magnolia Summer, is Lee-Ann B.

Friday: Winnie Griggs offered a detailed discussion on the various functions  Secondary Characters can perform in your story using the movie Pirates of the Caribbean as her starting point.

Wednesday:  Publishers Weekly Bestselling Author, Debby Giusti will share pictures and information about her recent trip to Ireland with emphasis on "International Travel Tips for Writers." We are thrilled to announce that Ruth Logan Herne's February 2018 book "Her Secret Daughter" has been nominated as a Christy Award finalist in the "Short Form" category encompassing novels under 60,000 words, Senior Editor Melissa Endlich, Love Inspired Books, editor. Winners will be named at a gala dinner and awards ceremony held at Lipscomb University in Nashville on November 7th, 2018. Congratulations, Ruthy!

Pumpkin-mania is alive and well in WNY so I'll be baking and working the pumpkin stand this weekend... wishing everyone the very best weekend with beautiful fall weather and praying for those affected by Florence... what a devastating amount of water that is... I cannot even imagine the scope of work involved in this clean up, so much like Harvey last year.

    Let the floodwaters recede... and the work of Christ on Earth proceed through our eyes and hands and feet.
