    2. Well, we'll have to keep hoping, Debby! It's so dreary here today. Damp and cold.

  2. Grabbing a second cup of coffee and reading some of the links! Have a lovely day, everyone!

The trees are starting to change in GA!

  3. Good morning! Had a full calendar yesterday so missed Pam's post, I'll probably read it this morning. Saturday is my catch-up day, blogs, reviews and business. Am way behind on all, don't know where to begin. Also need to submit second novel to Pelican, but -- I don't want to let go of my baby!
Debby, I didn't know trees in the South changed color. Color me ignorant! What do they change to?
How does the Monday critique work? What's the page/word limit? One scene? Does it have to be the opening?
    Back later,
    Kathy Bailey

    2. Kathy, our trees sure don't get a beautiful as yours do! Or maybe with all the pines around here we just get less of the fall color. :)

Good luck letting the baby go! haha It'll end up being a good feeling once you bid it good riddance--er, goodbye. ;) (Yes, I'm always so sick of books once you can pry my hands away from making more changes, I end up feeling really good that it's gone.) haha

  7. Happy Weekend, everyone. I am ready for it. It has been a busy week. I have barely been able to read the posts. I started Pam's then realized I completely missed Debby's on Wednesday. I thought I had read that day. So I will have to catch up tomorrow.

Today I will be busy cleaning and cooking. Tonight we have family coming over for a soup supper and to view our neighbor's pumpkin display. The neighbors have all their relatives over to carve over 100 pumpkins into all kinds of designs then light them for the next two nights. So after supper we will all walk around the corner to see the display. It is quite the sight. Should be a fun time.

  8. Happy Saturday, everyone!

    And congratulations to Library Lady!

Enjoy your fall colors, those of you in the south. Ours are gone, the trees are bare, and we've already had our first snowfall. :-) *sigh* I love living in the north!

Today is a working day for me, starting a new story this morning!

    Have a great weekend!

Mild vertigo is back due to rain. As long as it stays mild still good.

    Busy getting ready for Sunday.

I am also gearing up for Nano. Any one else doing Nano.

    Have a great weekend.

  10. Happy weekend everyone!!

It's dreary here and turning pretty cold, 57 degrees right now (don't laugh. It's been hot lately so it's a big change!). So we've done all our errands and are in for the night. I'm making chili! It's finally time! :)
