  1. The second weekend of Advent... And wishing you all the very best of faith, hope, peace and love as December tiptoes forward.... or rushes like a freight train! God bless you!

  2. We have a big Advent dinner and speaker this evening at my church. I'm hosting a table for 12 and was up late preparing a yummy shrimp casserole! Heading to church to decorate my table soon. Grateful Georgia is having rain instead of snow and thinking of all those caught in this storm. Stay safe!

    Happy Advent to all!

    1. I bet your table will be beautiful, Debby! And shrimp casserole! Sounds like something you'd find in the Southern Living magazines I used to devour when I'd visit my Texas grandma!

  3. Good morning, Seekerville! I've enjoyed the Advent posts this week and am looking forward to those of the coming weeks. And great giveaways, too! Books, paintings, Kindles, and other fun stuff!

A pause in winter weather here for a few days, so I'm making the most of it by running errands on NOT slick roads! Trying to wrap up (pun intended) the last of my Christmas shopping. :)

  6. I have to confess that I'm a bit discombobulated this Christmas season.

Between working at Santa's Wonderland (a wonderful seasonal job with full-time hours for the next two weeks), writing a Christmas novella (it's December 9th in today's scene, but Christmas has to arrive by Monday), and grabbing snatches of real life as I can, I'm not really sure of the date or the time...

But I DO know that Christmas is coming and I'm allowing NO Grinchiness in my life. :-)

Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone, and a blessed Sunday!

  7. Good morning, Seekerville! (I tried commenting via my phone, but alas...something went awry. Lol)

Yaaay! I'm so thrilled to win Myra's HILL COUNTRY REUNION! Love this woman AND her books! Thank you!

Blog thought for you: Someone should really do a blog in your coming season about launching your first book. Something like, "How to stay out of the looney bin - or die trying - while preparing for your FIRST book launch!" Lol I'm sure you've covered it before. Anyway, tips appreciated!

Thank you, Seekerville, for your nurturing and guidance and support of writers. I guess I'm almost kicked off Unpubbed Island, but I hope you'll let me still visit! :-)

Thank you again for all you do! Can't wait to read Debby's, Ruthy's, and Linda's new books!

    ~ Blessings

    1. Cynthia, thanks for mentioning my next release!

Great idea for a blog post, but you're right! I do believe we have some posts on that subject in the archives. My advice is to enjoy your success and do what suits you and fits into your schedule. You don't have to do it all!!! Really!

  8. Oh man you guys....I have missed this SO much!! I've been away way too long. It's like not seeing a good friend in forever and a day :-)

What a wonderful surprise to come back and find out I was a winner for Glynna Kaye. Yay! Throw the confetti and blow those party horns! Thank you so much.

I think we're all winners just being able to hang out in the cyber world...reader and author alike. Can you imagine if we were in a real room together...CHAOS would rule the day, lol! But OH SO FUN

I hope you guys get a chance to read A Cowboy Christmas, boy was that ever a fun read :-) No surprise with Ruthy and Linda behind the stories.

Happy weekend everyone! See you again on Monday.
