Here’s a sneak peek at Debby Giusti's story, ON THE RUN…
When Annalise Bonner reports a murder at Lakeside Lab’s guarded compound, security wants her silenced. Her only hope is Matt Mayor, the man she loved and left because of a covert military assignment. Can she trust Matt not only with her life but also her heart?

Knowing she’s in danger, Matt secrets Anna away from the remote Tennessee research enclave to the Amish community of Ethridge and on to the North Georgia Mountains as a multistate manhunt mounts. Running out of options to keep Anna safe, Matt will sacrifice anything—including his life—to save the woman he loves.

  1. Busy farm weekend here, still planting, weeding, hoeing and watering... and there's Little League and a two-granddaughter soccer tournament, so we'll be running, but that's the best side of life, isn't it??? It's why being a young Grammy is marvelous... because they do keep us running! Have a great weekend, Seekerville and Villagers and may God continue to bless this great nation...

    you are loved!!!

    1. Write what you know!

How about a romance where the hero and heroine have daughters on opposing soccer teams and one red cards the other and the H/H get into a big fight!

      A great way to meet.

And soccer is hot and would look great on a book cover!

    2. My first ever novel was about a soccer coach and a dad.... so based on experience! But it was horrible in so many ways, and then I stole elements of that story and used them in other books once I actually improved, my friend! :) Maybe one of these days I'll re-visit that, Vince. It's a great idea!

  2. A full week ahead and a holiday!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat on Wednesday. I really enjoyed hanging out for the day. Happy weekend! I hope you have great plans (or no plans if that's what suits).

    1. I love, love, love going to these kids' games. I caught Eli's championship baseball game (a tie 11-11) and half of Anna's soccer tournament game and half of her sister Emma's (playing at same time...)

And still kept the mums alive! :)
