Good morning, Seekerville!
ReplyDeleteJune doesn't "bust out all over" in the Black Hills, it sneaks in quietly, hiding behind the skirts of winter.
This year, we have blessed, drought-conquering rain, and that means the wildflowers are blooming! One of my favorites is called blue-eyed grass. The plant looks just like grass, so you don't notice it in your yard or in the meadow until it blooms in early June. Then you see the tiny blue stars! There is such beauty in the little things.
Enjoy your Saturday, everyone!
I need to get back to the Black Hills sometime. Enjoy your flowers!
