Here’s a sneak peek at Debby Giusti's story, ON THE RUN…
When Annalise Bonner reports a murder at Lakeside Lab’s guarded compound, security wants her silenced. Her only hope is Matt Mayor, the man she loved and left because of a covert military assignment. Can she trust Matt not only with her life but also her heart?
Knowing she’s in danger, Matt secrets Anna away from the remote Tennessee research enclave to the Amish community of Ethridge and on to the North Georgia Mountains as a multistate manhunt mounts. Running out of options to keep Anna safe, Matt will sacrifice anything—including his life—to save the woman he loves.

What Are You Reading
ReplyDeleteThat You Are Loving?
The last few days I've dropped by all I could hear were pins dropping!
So, how about telling all of us what you are reading that you are really loving. Some books are really great once they end and everything makes sense. That's fine. However, I like books that I love reading the whole time that I am reading them. These are highly rewarding reads.
I also read six or seven books at a time and let them compete for my attention. This tells me a lot about holding a reader's attention, sagging middles, and upping the enjoyment factor on each page.
Here are two books I'm now reading, to the exclusion of all the others, (until I finish them and go back to the rest):
1. "When Love Blossoms," by Elaine Stock, I just love her effervescent voice. Fresh and sparkling.
2. "Where Dandelions Bloom," by Tara Johnson. Civil War romance with Mathew Brady as an important character. Great use of history. I'm learning something new on almost every page. Wonderful.
I know it is odd that the titles are so similar when the books are nothing alike.
Let us all know if you are reading anything now that you really love.
Vince, I just read and really enjoyed a YA novel that I got as an advance reader copy (comes out in October). (It's not Christian fiction and I'd say it would probably be rated PG for those who might want to know that up front.) It's called The Speed of Falling Objects by Nancy Richardson Fischer. I couldn't put it down.
