  1. Happy Weekend!

There's a big 100th birthday party for my MIL, Lucille Williams, at church Sunday afternoon. Many people from very far away are attending. Should be fun.

I won a book and I'm delighted to have a Amanda Cabot story. Her writing is such a good example to other writers. You can learn a lot about writing on her website.

Amazing, also. I saw Mary's, "The Reluctant Warrior," book on sale for 99 cents and I did not already own it! Of course, I went to Amazon and download it immediately and guess what? It was only 79 cents! (Perhaps Mary needs to check that.) Also, the audible book reader is excellent.

Have a great weekend. It sure seems to be off to a super start!

And Happy Birthday to your MIL. 100! Amazing.

    1. I hope you can too, Kathy. I always miss it when there's a good conversation happening and I can't participate because I'm at school. :(

    2. Mary Cate, don't you know I live to torment you? NOT! Isn't that a precious cover, though? The baby is adorable and, well, her daddy's no schlep either.

  4. Happy weekend, everyone!

I had a stellar idea for my new book while I was in the shower, bounced it off my husband while we were walking the dogs, and now I'm ready to write it down. I'm loving this story already!

But don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight!

    1. There's never a good weekend for losing an hour, is there, Jan? But darn, this is a particularly bad one for me to lose an hour.

So excited about your stellar idea. I get the best ideas when I'm in the sower. Glad you remembered it!

    2. Spring Forward! Thanks, Jan. I knew it was soon...but I might have forgotten to change my clocks without your comment.
