  2. I have not yet been vaccinated. I don't have a regular doctor and haven't heard where else to get one.

    1. Casey, I found a website that covers my county. A public health department I've never heard of before. They list dates of coming vaccines. Everyday they have new ones. I'm not eligible yet, but soon. I expect all the impatient waiting will end up with a glut of vaccines before long.

  3. Please put me in drawing. I would love to read this.
We are scheduled to be vaccinated April 1. Don't even. By then we should have herd immunity or be dead. And who knows when we'll get the second shot.

    2. Your second shot should be scheduled when you get the first as it needs to be so many weeks after the first.

  4. The new series looks great! I'd love to read it. No, we haven't gotten a vaccine. We're not in any of the high risk categories, so I'd rather wait until everyone who really needs it gets it.

  18. Mary, please put me in the drawing. Looks like a great series. I have not had the vaccine but hopefully soon as teachers are getting it now in my area. I actually could have had it last Saturday, but I had a shingles vaccine less than 2 weeks ago so have to wait. I should get in whenever they have the next teacher's clinic--hopefully soon!

  21. Congrats on the release, Mary.

I've had both my vaccine doses. NY opened it to teachers in the second round, and I was lucky to get an appointment right away. I stood on line for 3 hours for the first one, but they'd gotten really efficient by the time I went for the second dose. Shot was in my arm within 15 minutes of arriving at the site (in the middle of a snowstorm!).

No I have not been vaccinated yet. I have to wait as I am only 62 and only mild health problems. My husband just turned 65 in February and he is on a list from our doctors. My mother in law has had both shots. I suppose I just stay healthy. Smile.

    1. Hi Lori. I haven't tried my doctor. She's in Iowa, I'm Nebraska. Do you think that would make a difference? Is there an in-state way to pay for it???

      Delete
    2. Mary, I think we Nebraskans have to stick with our health district. But I don't know how out-of-state doctors would handle that. It is a good question to ask!

  28. Hi Mary:

I got one of the vaccine shots and need to get the second in a few days. Hope it really works.

One question: Is the brother on the cover of "Braced for Love" left handed? Don't see too many left handed heroes.

    1. No he's not. but I can't remember being specific in the book so if you want to PRETEND he's left handed, go for it!

      Delete
    2. Hi Mary: I ask about hero being left handed because his gun is on the left hand side and it is in the holster the right way so he is not a cross-drawing shooter. I'm not sure many fans would like a hero who was left handed and called Lefty. I would stand out however.
